Almeta Smith is the owner and creative director of Floral Designs by
Meta. She has high energy, contemporary concepts and a creative eye that
she infuses into her designing and planning. She derived years of
specialized training the areas of creating and managing time lines,
budgeting, vendor management and contract negotiations, in her former
career as a network planner. She began her floral career as a summer
intern, more than 25 years ago. She refreshes and updates her training
through continuing education courses at several local universities and
working with several AFID certified designers. She prides herself on keeping
up on the latest trends by attending industry conventions and trade shows.

Place, The Gaylord Texan, The Fairmont, The Hyatt at Reunion, Plano Centre,
